Teaching Arrangment
An illustration of a typical course sequence for a 24-month standard academic Programme length to complete 7 professional compulsory courses and 5 professional elective courses.
Note: The following study plan is for reference only, the specific courses offered are subject to Programme notification.
In the Pre-term, all admitted students are required to take one preparatory course Basic Marketing and Statistics (non-credit), and one Python Tutorial.
Under the standard curriculum, students can choose to take 5 core courses:
- Strategic Marketing Management
- Communications in the Digital Age
- Big Data Marketing Strategy
- Marketing Research in the Digital Age
- Customer Relationship Management
as well as 1 elective course.
Under the standard curriculum, students can choose to take 2 core courses:
- Consumer Behaviour
- Digital and Social Media Marketing
as well as 1 elective course.
Students will also choose to take 2 Civic Education (CE) courses in this Term.
Optional
Students may choose to take courses during the summer term or not. If they opt to enroll, it is recommended to take 1 elective course.

Students can choose to take an non-credit internship course (subject to course requirements), or participate in an exchange program, or take 1 elective course.
Students can choose 1-3 elective courses, depending on the remaining course requirements for each student.
In this Term, students who have not yet completed the Civic Education (CE) courses are required to do so.
If a student completes 7 compulsory courses and 5 elective courses by the Term 2 of Year 2, they will be included in the July graduation list, and therefore will not need to participate in course selection this Term. If they have not completed all elective courses, they can choose to take one this Term and will be included in the October/November graduation list.
